Website redesign cost, scoped after discovery

Every proposal is fixed-fee once scope is agreed. No hourly invoices that grow because someone added pages in week six.

Website redesign cost depends on URL count, platform, content production, and migration complexity more than a generic industry average. The ranges below reflect recent RedesignWebsites projects after discovery, not bait-and-switch starting prices.

For a deeper breakdown by site type, read our website redesign cost guide or average cost benchmarks.

Pricing questions we hear on every discovery call

  • Why do you quote after discovery instead of on the first call?

URL count, platform, integrations, and content volume change the fee more than industry averages. Discovery produces a migration plan and fixed price you approve before build starts.

  • What is included in the marketing site range?

Discovery, sitemap, redirect map, UX and visual design, build, accessibility QA, launch support, and a 90-day post-launch ranking report on priority URLs.

  • Are there ongoing fees hidden in the proposal?

No. Hosting, maintenance retainers, and paid media are separate line items we document at handoff so your team knows monthly run rate.

  • Do you offer payment milestones?

Yes. Statements of work tie payments to discovery, design approval, staging QA, and launch.

  • What if scope changes mid-project?

Both sides sign a change order with updated timeline and fee. We do not silently expand scope.
